Autorama

Yesterday, Daddy and Kyle had a 'Guys Day Out'. Bill took Kyle to Autorama at Cobo Hall. It is a car show chock full of hot rods, muscle cars, big trucks and the like. They had a really good time, Kyle was a really good boy and I think it was great for them to spend a little time together without Mommy and Kelsey getting in the way.

They started their day by going to McDonald's for lunch. Then a trip on the People Mover--which Kyle LOVES--to get to the show. They walked around and looked at the cars for a couple hours.

Kyle insisted that Bill take his picture in front of....this....it's clear he doesn't know how to read. Maybe he liked the colors?

I'm not sure if you can tell, but he is holding an orange matchbox car in his hand. A car exactly like the car behind him. He wanted to take this car in his pocket and see if he could find one like it and he did!

After the show, the People Mover took them back to the Ren Cen where they walked around and checked out some *new* GM cars. And Kyle could sit in these and pretend to drive. He was a little disappointed that he couldn't sit in any of the muscle cars...sorry, those are the rules!

And they found this Corvette that was just his size!

Finally, Daddy treated him to an ice cream cone. According to Kyle "Vanilla! My favorite!!"
